Visiting Scholars Program
Collaborating to Advance the Field of 2e Education
The Bridges 2e Center Visiting Scholars Program brings together leading scholars, researchers, authors, and thought leaders whose work is helping shape the future of twice exceptionality, gifted education, neurodiversity, cognitive diversity, talent development, psychology, and related fields.
This program is designed as a collaborative partnership between scholarship and practice. Visiting scholars share their expertise with the Bridges community while engaging with Bridges Academy as a demonstration and lab school for 2e education. Together, we explore how research, real world practice, and lived experience can inform one another in service of twice exceptional learners.

- Strengthen our school community through access to leading voices in the field
- Share Bridges Academy’s strength based, talent centered approach to 2e education
- Support meaningful exchange between researchers, educators, families, and leaders
- Broaden the reach of important scholarship and practical strategies
- Collaborate on research, publications, professional learning, and field building efforts
- Develop partnerships that improve understanding and support for 2e learners beyond our campus
What a Visit May Include
Each visit is shaped around shared interests and goals. A visiting scholar experience may include faculty professional development, parent education, leadership conversations, classroom visits, community events, research discussions, or collaboration on articles, publications, tools, and future projects.
Housing is provided as part of the visit in our private, on-campus dorms.
