The Future is Inclusive: A Neuro- and Cultural Diversity Symposium

The Bridges 2e Center is bringing together leading voices to further the conversation around the intersection of neurodiversity — including giftedness and other learning differences — and ethnicity. This online event, taking place Dec. 9-11, 2022, will feature speakers such as Dr. Joy Lawson Davis, Dr. Carlita Cotton, Dr. Anne Gray, Dr. Nielsen Pereira, Dr. Gilman Whiting, and more.

With this event, we intend to inspire, connect, educate, and reflect on the discussion in the neurodiversity and cultural diversity area of convergence. The symposium will aim to create an opportunity for scholars, parents, and advocates to learn about and discuss the needs of culturally diverse learners who are twice-exceptional, discover what they can do to create more inclusive communities where students’ needs are met, and to develop a broader, sustainable support community.
