BPU Returns Saturday, October 3rd, 2026!
Bridges Parent University is a one-day gathering created for parents and caregivers of gifted and twice exceptional learners. Hosted on the Bridges Academy campus in Studio City, California, this event brings families together for a day of learning, connection, and community, with expert speakers, invaluable resources, and practical tools to support children at home and at school.
We are proud to partner with Elmbridge University (Formerly Bridges Graduate School) and SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted) to offer a day rooted in expertise, compassion, and deep understanding of gifted and 2e learners.
Throughout the day, parents and caregivers have the opportunity to explore topics such as executive functioning, self-advocacy, social and emotional growth, strength-based learning, and the joys and challenges of raising complex, curious, and wonderfully unique children.
Just as importantly, BPU creates space for families to connect with one another over great food, coffee, desserts, raffles, conversation, and community-building moments that often continue long after the event ends.
Whether you are a parent who is just beginning to learn about twice-exceptional or have been on this journey for years, Bridges Parent University offers a supportive and inspiring space to learn, ask questions, meet others walking a similar path, and leave with resources, encouragement, and a deeper sense of connection.
Professionals working in related fields are warmly invited to attend and may register at a reduced rate.

An Incredible Keynote with Dr. Susan Baum
Dr. Susan Baum is the Chancellor of Elmbridge University (Formerly Bridges Graduate School) and a leader in the field of twice-exceptional (2e) education and research.
At the center of Dr. Baum’s work is the idea that talent development and being positive about students has the best potential to support growth across domains. Dr. Baum has an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University with a double major in elementary education and special education; a master of science degree in students with learning disabilities from Montclair State University; and a Ph.D. in educational psychology with a specialty in gifted and talented education from UConn.
