Our favorite stories make us laugh, cry, and dream. What makes these moments memorable and burns these images into our minds? This summer class explores the emotional beats in stories, how they are visually portrayed, and how to recreate those moments in our work. Through this program, students will take apart a beloved story, and rebuild it with their own hands.

This class is recommended for visual storytellers of all abilities, from illustrators to game designers to filmmakers. Students will need art supplies, either traditional or digital, and the ability to (digitally) rent one film for homework.
