Why do germs make people sick? What is the difference between a virus and a bacterium? How do microbiologist use microscopes? How do we study microbes on other planets? This course will take us deep into the microscopic world as we explore the friends and foes that the naked eye can’t see. We will explore disease-causing pathogens while learning how they grow, multiply, and what can be done to stop them. This course will solve a microscopic mystery as we use our knowledge to find the source of an outbreak!
