Vaping Possibly Becoming Even Greater Risk to Students

Vaping might be less harmful to users than is traditional smoking, but that doesn’t mean the practice isn’t bad for you. The danger, in fact, might be even greater for kids, whose use of e-cigarettes has increased dramatically—so much so that Massachusetts now is investigating e-cigarette maker Juul in an effort to determine if the company is getting kids hooked on vaping. Education Week and PBS News Hour recently produced a report exploring whether parents and students are even aware of the health risks as educators find it increasingly difficult to even spot some versions of e-cigarette in their schools.
