Here’s what he said about himself in a recent NPR interview: “”I thought I was stupid … You take that mantle with you when it’s said often enough and when you’re young enough. * The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation reports on a study that set out to measure “the impact of ASD on both social and non-social cognitive functioning in adult patients.” Read more.
* Genes and ADHD and brain structure were the focus of a Spanish study that sought to find interrelationships among the factors. Indeed, the study found that “participants with higher polygenic risk for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), the volume of the caudate nucleus, one of the structures that make up the brain, was smaller.” The researchers found gender differences; in addition, “ADHD was the only condition found to be significantly associated with the volume of any part of the brain.” Find the study write-up.
