Five Tips to Navigate the 2e University Search Process

As an education advocate, guidance coach, and parent of a twice-exceptional child, I am aware of the needs of 2e students and believe their university search process needs to reflect their inherent uniqueness. Just as traditional classroom strategies and learning environments typically aren’t a great fit for 2e learners, standard approaches to college searches also aren’t ideal for this population.

In my role as a head guidance coach at LAUNCH Education Advisors, I work to help families navigate the college/university search, application, admission, and decision process with the end goal of finding the best-fit school for a student. If you are at the point of researching schools with your 2e child or student, these five tips can help families navigate the process in a productive manner.
