Cost of Child-rearing, Summer, Myths, More

YOU KNEW THIS. A study by researchers at Florida International University determined that raising a child with ADHD costs five times more than raising a child without ADHD. And the numbers in the study write-up for ADHD kiddos actually seem low, even though the study supposedly took into account factors such as extra services, lost belongings, income loss, parental therapy, additional childcare expense, etc. The next question for those here: What’s the bump to raise a gifted child with ADHD?
