IN THE EFFORT TO BRING diversity into educating neurodiverse populations, we often advocate for greater opportunities for all students. Colin Seale suggests we shift our thinking into how we can best serve not all students, but each student.
“Equity,” he said, “means unlocking the excellence in everyone.” His biggest fear is that we’re “leaving genius on the table” by not broadening our definition of gifted.
