2e News reader Cynthia S. Rolls wrote asking about writing gifted IEPs for twin brothers with genetic visual processing issues:
“Where do we start, in your opinion? We have some testing, but the former public school refused to do all the necessary testing; we currently are waiting for a call on whether pediatric neuropsychologist testing for IQ is approved. What aspects are important to remember if you are addressing highly gifted students’ need for adequate materials without overloading their visual processing and spirits?”
